Years 7, 8, and 9 had a challenging couple of days in Hertfordshire on their start of year teambuilding trips.
Year 7 spent two nights at Tolmers Activity Centre, Cuffley where they spent one night in indoor accommodation, then one night camping in tents. During the day time they found time to go caving, sailing and climbing at a nearby centre, build and fire chemical rockets which went around 400 feet into the air, and try other challenges such as gladiators, aeroball and trying to cross a lake using a very wobbly bridge.
Year 8 and 9 spent one night camping, and during the daytime took part in lasertag to assess their teamworking skills as well as coconut tree climbing, rifle shooting, aeroball and rotating wall. All the students on both trips also found some time to help with the washing up, much to their obvious delight!
