Fairley House is a special place. Our students work hard to address their learning differences and to develop skills that help them become confident self-advocates throughout life. As Fairley House continues to grow and its vision expands, school facilities must enrich the renewed academic and extra-curricular lives of our students. We must continue to attract and retain the highest quality teachers and therapists so that Fairley House continues to be the cutting edge institution in the UK addressing dyslexia and dyspraxia. Your contributions help to enhance our facilities and offer greater opportunities to our pupils.

Charitable Status
Fairley House is a recognized UK charity, registered number 281680. Its board of governors is made up primarily of former Fairley House parents, as well as experts in the field of education. They agree school policy, support the school’s mission and establish the vision for its future. Contributions to Fairley House School may provide tax benefits to UK taxpayers.
Gift Aid
Gift Aid is the UK government’s program to encourage gifts to charities. Inland Revenue rebates to the School the basic rate (22%) of tax the donor has already paid on his/her gift, provided the donor signs a Gift Aid Declaration and pays enough UK income tax and/or capital gains tax to cover the amount of tax the School will reclaim. In addition, the donor who pays UK tax at 40% receives a UK tax deduction. So, in effect, any UK taxpayer making a donation to Fairley House can see his/her donation increase by 28% by signing a Gift Aid declaration.
Corporate Matching Gifts
Does the company you work for have a match funding policy? Some companies will match 100% or more of your donation. This kind of corporate support makes a significant contribution to Fairley House and can double or triple your donation. Please contact your employer’s human resources department for information and forms on matching gifts to schools.
Contributions to should be made out to Fairley House School and forwarded for the attention of Patricia Snowdon, 30 Causton Street, London, SW1P 4AU
